Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of DJOPS, a desktop application for macOS, and this website. By using DJOPS you agree to them. "We" and "us" mean the DJOPS team, based in Montréal, Canada.
1. The service
DJOPS helps DJs manage their music library, edit recordings of their sets and publish them to platforms they connect, such as YouTube. DJOPS is currently in private beta; features may change, and the software may contain bugs.
2. YouTube
DJOPS uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to DJOPS, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how DJOPS handles your data, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to data Google processes.
3. Your accounts and your content
- You may connect only channels and accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- You keep all rights to your recordings and content. DJOPS publishes only what you review and approve.
- You are responsible for what you publish, including having the rights needed for the music, footage and other material in it, and for following the rules of each platform you publish to.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use DJOPS to publish content that infringes others' rights or breaks the law or platform rules, to act on accounts you're not authorized to manage, or to interfere with the platforms it connects to.
5. Payments
DJOPS is free to use during the beta. If paid features are introduced, prices will be shown in the app before you pay, and these terms will be updated.
6. Disclaimer and liability
DJOPS is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Keep backups of your library and recordings. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost revenue, or indirect damages arising from your use of DJOPS, including actions taken by third-party platforms on your content or account.
7. Ending use
You can stop using DJOPS at any time by disconnecting your accounts and uninstalling it. We may suspend access to the beta at any time.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
